What are the requirements for glass used in glass curtain walls?

The glass used in the glass curtain wall should pay attention to safety matters in terms of materials, structure, seals, etc.:
1. The wall thickness of the profile for the curtain wall is not less than 3mm. The minimum average film thickness is 15 дm and the minimum local film thickness is 12 дm. The surface color of the anodized aluminum alloy profile is basically uniform, and no defects such as corrosion spots, electric welding injuries, black spots, and oxide film peeling are allowed.
2. Safety glass should be adopted for the frame supported glass curtain wall. Point-supported glass curtain walls supported by glass ribs shall be tempered glass. Safety glass should be used in public places with high density of people, activities of teenagers or young children, and places prone to impact during use.
3. The structural adhesive should have good tensile strength, peel strength, tear strength and elastic modulus, and it also serves as a shock absorber.
4. The rubber sealing strip should adopt EPDM, neoprene or silicone rubber, which conforms to the regulations of HG/T3099 and GB/T5574.
5. The hardware should meet the design requirements, and stainless steel materials that are prone to rust must not be used. When welding, the stainless steel should be shielded to prevent the welding spark from splashing on the stainless steel and causing rust.
